2025 HOPE For All Annual Report
What gives people a solid foundation in their lives? Faith, family, and friendships, are often the basis for this, followed by economic security and having their basic needs met. The dignity of living in a functioning home cannot be underestimated in ensuring that people wake up each day and are motivated to attend school, go to work, or stay home nurturing their family.
Those who are disabled need a healthy home that is a respite from their challenges. When a home is empty of a bed to sleep upon, a comfortable chair for relaxation, a kitchen with supplies for cooking, lamps for proper light, and so much more, it’s not really a home. And it’s no foundation on which to build a future.
More than two decades ago, HOPE For All founders, Leo and Diane Zerhusen, not only recognized the detrimental impact that furniture poverty had on our neighbors, but took action and built HOPE For All to bring that stability to people’s lives. With God’s mercy, and the continued passion of our supporters, we will keep working to offer our clients a solid foundation as they rebuild their lives.
